Why This Site Exists
Missouri public-record law makes many arrest reports, incident reports, and public court records available, but jail custody, court charges, and correctional status are different record categories. Pettis County Inmate Population keeps those categories separate so an arrest, a filed charge, a booking photo, and a custody status are not treated as the same fact.
The project is privately written and is not an official record system. It does not host jail rosters, court files, booking photos, warrant data, or corrections records. Its role is limited to general reference content about Pettis County inmate-population topics and the public-record boundaries that affect them.
What Is Included
The main record pages are written around the way Pettis County custody information is organized, not around a generic jail-roster claim.
